“The Study of Happiness in Work & Life”
On Campus
I speak about happiness and wellbeing in the context of life as a college student. I teach students how to find purpose behind college and career, increase social connection, and manage their stress and responsibilities. These skills are critical for student mental health and engagement (i.e. retention).
Recovery and Health Services
I’m an advocate of modern medicine’s mind-body health paradigm. Understanding all dimensions of flourishing – including psychological and social factors is necessary to understand illness and health. This topic is very close to my heart as I’ve seen many family members struggle with addiction and health issues.
Conferences / Events
I tailor my conversations to the theme of the event. I’ve found that just about everything has an interesting intersection with the study of happiness.
Businesses & Organizations
I have a background in consulting (PwC Tech, the Audience Inc.) and startup leadership (StudentFi.org). I’ve worked with teams from a variety of background including military, academic, sales, and senior management. The common theme – applying the study of happiness to engineer happier people and organizations. Not-so-surprisingly this increases productivity and business performance. >>Click here for keynote topics.<<
